WWE Smackdown 10-14-11 Results and Photos

This past Friday on Smackdown we saw a 61 man battle royal in celebration for Smackdown becoming the second longest running television show in history (RAW being #1 with over 900 shows). The winner would win the chance to face any champion of their choosing for the title later on in the main event.

Randy was the last superstar out to the ring. It all boiled down to Randy and The Miz. Near the end of the fight, both Randy and The Miz were on the apron fighting and barely holding themselves to the ropes to keep from falling. But in the end it was an RKO that would end the fight. Although both Randy and Miz fell of the apron with that move, The Miz's feet hit first, therefor Randy won the match, and chose to face Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title later that night.

The match between Randy and Mark Henry wasn't really that long. A few times it looked like Henry would win. But towards the end Randy hit an RKO, and almost beat Henry for the title. But then Cody Rhodes ran down and interfere, causing Randy to win by DQ, but not to win the title.

It looked like Randy was in for a double beating, and Cody Rhodes was going to place another bag over Randy's head. But before Cody could do that, Big Show ran down and helped out Randy. With Big Show laying out Mark Henry, that left Cody Rhodes alone and able to be hit with an RKO. What will happen next week? We'll have to wait and see!
